Crochet Baby Cardigan

27 May

So I got bored of making beanies after a while and started looking for a different crochet project. As we are approaching a chilly winter in the South Island of NZ, I thought a cardigan project would be a good start. I found Cat’s One Piece Wonder baby cardigan pattern on a google search, and just went from there. I stuck to the pattern and used a 4mm crochet hook and 8 ply acrylic yarn. There’s something quite intrinsically rewarding about making such little outfits as they come together so quickly!

I’m in the process of enlarging the pattern to make a bigger one that will actually fit my 18 month old. Stay tuned to see how it will turn out!
